Dig & Delve was founded by Rowan Wynne-Jones in 2017. Originally based in Bath, Dig & Delve started running activities at Bath City Farm, local primary schools and village halls. In 2019 Dig & Delve relocated to Barnsley Herb Garden (and woodland), a beautiful and private site near Cirencester, in the Cotswolds.
Rowan is a qualified and experienced Forest School Practioner (Level 3), Youth Worker (Level 3), and English Teacher (TESOL). She has a wealth of experience working with children in a wide range of settings: from schools, to city farms, to residential summer camps. Rowan is also an experienced community worker, and enjoys faciliating events, workshops and workdays with people of all ages and backgrounds, and is particularly keen to help people to connect with nature, and their environment. She is also has interests and qualifications in Landscape Architecture, horticulture, Linguistics and Teaching English. Rowan has a current DBS check, training in Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid and Food Safety and Hygiene.
The Dig & Delve team has a wide range of qualifications and experience to draw from in fields of education and childcare, community engagement, bushcraft and woodwork, arts and crafts, and health and wellbeing. All our staff have up-to-date DBS checks.
