Eloise and Rowan invite you to step into the cosy charm of Barnsley Village Hall for an afternoon of festive indulgence – sip prosecco, enjoy delicious nibbles, and be guided by expert hands as you craft a beautiful, bespoke Christmas wreath. With every ribbon tied and sprig of greenery placed, you’ll create a gorgeous piece to take home, leaving with not only a wreath but also that irresistible twinkly feeling of Christmas. All materials are provided, spaces are limited, and the atmosphere promises to be as sparkling as the season itself – so gather your friends and book your spot now.

Join us in the woods for some conservation team building experiences, cook over a campfire, build a shelter together, practice mindfulness. We can plan and deliver your perfect Team Building Day in the beautiful setting of Barnsley Herb Garden and Woodland.
TODDLERS
A welcoming outdoor group for parents and their youngsters. Set in the beautiful grounds of Barnsley Herb Garden, with access to their herb garden, native woodland, and meadow, there is plenty of space for children and adults to enjoy being outdoors, and connect to nature.
Activities will change from week to week, but will include: nature-inspired arts and crafts, songs and stories, gardening, messy play, campfires, and lots of lovely outdoor space to explore.
We will provide a warm cup of tea or coffee for parents, and a small cup of hot chocolate for the little ones. We will ensure that there is well-ventilated shelter from the elements, should it be required. There is acccess to a compost toilet.
The group is led by Rowan Wynne-Jones, an experienced playworker, Forest School leader, teacher and youth worker.
A 45 minute yoga class for toddlers (25 mins yoga, with stories, songs and games either side) set in the beautiful grounds in Barnsley Herb Garden. Depending upon the weather and mood, either in the garden, woodland, or meadow.
A small, intimate, supportive group, set in nature.
Parents need to be with their children at all times and partake in the activities.
The group is led by Rowan Wynne-Jones, a freshly trained Children's Yoga Teacher and experienced Forest School practitioner and teacher.
FAMILY EVENTS
WOODLAND SEASONAL FUN FOR FAMILIES
You are invited to join us for a magical morning or awesome afternoon of creativity, play and wonder in the woodland at Barnsley Herb Garden.
Suitable for kids between the ages 2-10 and their grown-ups, there are a range of activities to suit everyone : from a guided woodwork project, to messy-play, to organised games, to exploring the woodland and creatures who live in them. These mornings are ideal opportunities to connect with others, and nature, in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings, with plenty of space to chat, and run and play.

Our Wild & Wonderful parties are based around the Forest School ethos. We respond to the interests, ages and energy levels of the group, so no party is ever the same. We are able to provide a mixture of high-energy activities with calmer activities, which can help to balance levels of enthusiasm.
Activities we offer include: woodland crafts, such as pendants, whistles and twig pencils; building dens; creating insect / fairy homes; lighting fires and cooking outside on a fire; singing songs and telling stories; games and free play. We are able to respond to location, and interests. If your child has any nature themed interests, we will endeavour to incorporate these into the activities on offer.
We provide marshmallows and drinks.
Adult to child ratio: For over-5’s, we require that there is 1 adult for every 8 children. For under-5’s we request that most parents stay.
